Michael McCrea
Michael has worked in the fields of information security and network integration since 1990. Before co-founding Cosaint, Michael worked as the Director of Technical Operations for SecurityPortal. His responsibilities with SecurityPortal included management of the SecurityPortal web site, its development, technical team and early development of the NetRadar alerting system. Michael is a MCSE, CNE, CCNA and has an ATA degree from Skagit Valley College of Mount Vernon, Washington. |

Steve Addison
Steve worked as a project manager for British Aerospace, as an engineering design consultant for Frazer-Nash Consultancy, as CIO and Director of Marketing for Flomerics (a CAE software vendor) and as Vice President of Consulting Services for Knowledge Impact (an e-learning consultancy) before joining SecurityPortal to lead their product development programs. Following the closure of SecurityPortal, Steve co-founded Cosaint. Steve has a MA and PhD in Engineering from King's College, Cambridge. He is also a member of the Adjunct Faculty at City University where he teaches Computer Science. |

Jim Reavis
Jim Reavis is the chairman of Cosaint's advisory board through which he helps to provide strategic guidance and oversight to the company. For more than 15 years, Jim Reavis has worked in the information security industry as an entrepreneur, writer, speaker, technologist and business strategist. His original articles about emerging security trends have been published by Information Security Magazine, InfoWorld, Network World, SANS and Secure Computing Magazine, among others.
Jim is the Executive Director of the ISSA, the world's largest organization of information security professionals, the President of Reavis Consulting Group and editor of the CSOinformer newsletter, a monthly newsletter for people taking a strategic, multiyear view of the information security industry, and has been an advisor on the launch of many industry ventures. Jim has been interviewed for TV, radio and print by TechTV, CNN, CRN, InternetWeek, Interactive Week and CNET and has worked with hundreds of corporations on their information security strategy and technology roadmap.
Jim founded SecurityPortal in 1998. He was also formerly Chief Marketing Officer for VIGILANTe, a European security software company and Chief Strategy Officer for Breakwater Security. Jim received a BA in Business Administration/Computer Science from Western Washington University in 1987 and began his career shortly thereafter as the MIS Manager for InterWest Bank, now part of Wells Fargo.

Ric Steinberger
Ric Steinberger is the President of Sierra Computer Strategies and formerly Director of IT Security for Oracle. He has worked in the security field for well over a decade at SRI International, Nuance Communications, SRI Consulting, SecurityPortal, Exodus and Cable & Wireless. He has also taught "Network and Internet Security" for the UC Berkeley Engineering Extension School. He has an MS degree from Catholic University of America and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
