Cosaint Adds Automatic Security Reminders To Its Hosted Training Solution

Cosaint Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of an automatic Security Reminder ServiceTM (SRS) to its hosted security awareness training programs.
Security awareness training doesn't stop after the first lesson. It's important to continue to remind students of their responsibilities and what threats to watch out for. And one of the most cost-effective ways to do this is through a program of regular e-mails.
Cosaint's Security Reminder ServiceTM (SRS) is an automatic e-mail system built into the Cosaint CertifyTM Learning Management System. Now, with a single click, the manager of an organization can establish a program of monthly e-mail security reminders to all students.
To make it easy to start, Cosaint supplies a default set of reminders covering topics such as:
- Awareness of E-Mail Attachments
- Choosing and Managing Strong Passwords
- Phony Phone Calls and E-Mails ("Phishing")
- Strangers in the Workplace
- Destruction of Sensitive Information
- Security Out of the Office
- Secure Use of E-Mail
- Software and Music on the Internet
- The Importance of Patching Software
However, managers can customize or replace these reminders with their own content to meet specific business needs if they so desire. The SRS also uses the student list already imported into the Cosaint Certify Learning Management System to further reduce the burden on the managers.
