Different organizations have different training needs. Some organizations will have well-established training departments - other organizations may prefer to outsource training to specialists.
Cosaint offers considerable flexibility in the ways in which training courses can be delivered. As an alternative to the use of an SA-Center™, Cosaint can also provide:
- AICC or SCORM format courseware for a client's existing LMS.
- Classroom training materials.
AICC & SCORM Format Courseware for a Client-Hosted LMS
Many larger organizations have already installed a Learning Management System (LMS). This is a software application that helps to administer training - usually including both classroom and web-based training. It also manages student logins, records progress and generates reports for managers. If you have a LMS, your training department will know about it!
In the last few years, most major LMS vendors have backed the major standards initiatives in the e-learning industry:
These allow courses written by different authors to be integrated in a LMS with the least possible effort.
To support this effort, Cosaint has coupled its content development database to authoring tools that have been tested against, and are conformant with, both AICC and the latest SCORM specifications. Courses can now be customized and complied to AICC and SCORM formats as required.
All Cosaint courses can be delivered in AICC or SCORM format as required. Please contact Cosaint for more information.
Classroom Training Materials
In some cases, classroom teaching may be a better way to teach staff about security and/or privacy. Cosaint can work with your staff to develop classroom materials and either deliver the courses to your students, or train your trainers to deliver the classes themselves.
